Default Anyone else have issues with faulty buttons?

I just got a D2 a week ago, and already the Volume - button is loose and has to be pressed a certain way for it to function. I've read all the praises of the D2 yet am a little disappointed that something like this would happen so quickly.

Are you someone that's not very careful with his stuff? The whole unit itself seems rather solid. I'd prefer to not test the unit though. I wonder if the warranty covers normal wear and tear like that.

Just RMA it (you got it a week ago) and get another 1. Every player on the market has a few bad one's escape the factory. They'll send a replacement for you and it's "Thread Closed".

I've been using my D2 daily for the last 16 months, and my buttons are still fine. FWIW, I don't use a case or cover... Seems you received a dud - better RMA it, as Nywytboy already said.

I'm the exact opposite, I take strict care of my electronics. It was just during normal use one day I went to turn down the volume and then it happened.
