Default e260 v1 w/ Rockbox +4GB MSD HELP!!!!!

Ok, I bought what the title reads. I loaded the internal memory with music and the micro SD with music (of course using an adapter for the micro SD). Then I downloaded Rockbox with the Sansapatcher. Now, the player recognizes all 8 gb of music. So far, so good. Here's the problem, I have more than 8 gigs of music, so when I hooked the player to my computer, I cannot see any of the internal music (I know I can't see the external card). Under the original OS, I could see a music folder. Now I can't delete any music from the internal memory. I'm thinking I should have waited to put the music on after I downloaded Rockbox. Any suggestions?

Also, I hate the Rockbox interface. I cannot see the text. I liked the big cartoony look that came with the player. Can I switch back to that look while still having Rockbox on the player? Please help. Thanks.

1. Check to see if you have "show hidden files" checked in windows.

2. You can boot to original sansa firmware by holding the "|<<" key while turning on player. Alternatively you can add themes to the rockbox to match your likes, there are many out there.

Keep in mind, that you need to boot into the OF in order to be able to transfer data. And you're right on the point with the card. You can't use your e200 to fill microSDHC (all above 2GB are HC) with data.

If the text is too small try a larger font.

Wow! This forum is awesome! Thanks everybody for the help. I thought I would have to wait days to get this player running right.

The hidden file trick worked as did rebooting holding down the left button. I can't see the music on the MSD card when in the original OS but I'm going to try looking for a different display for Rockbox. Any suggestions? I like the original look.

Our theme subforum here has some decent themes to offer. You also want to look at www.rockbox-themes.org and www.rbthemes.com!
