Any of you Samsung people heard of the Q1?

It's an Ultra-mobile PC. If so, what do you think? I've heard it has similar sound quality to their best MP3 player.

Samsung made a huge mistake, they named their new pmp as YP-Q1, and their ultra-mobile pc as Q1. It will create huge confusion.

On my Q1 this update causes the screen to flicker violently when playing my FLAC music. I cannot appear to downgrade either.

Playing an OGG file is fine.

So, when i first connected my YP-Q1 to EmoDio it worked fine and i could add songs no problem. but when i connected it a day later EmoDio doesn't even recognize its connected. my computer knows its there, and i can still put songs on it using windows media player, but I'd rather use EmoDio. Its firmware version is 1.10 US. And i have the latest version of EmoDio as far as i know.

If anyone can provide any form of help, it would be very much appreciated.

Not that I use EmoDio, but I found that mine starts up when I plug the Q1 in, fails to see the player but then if I unplug, wait, replug the Q1 it reappears. Try that...

Hi, I recently got a Samsung YP-Q1 and I have a small problem with it. I listen pretty much only to albums, and with some albums, the tracks are sorted by track name, alphabetically, as opposed to track numbers. However some albums are correctly displayed, this is pretty odd considering all the tracks are tagged uniformly (ID3v2 ISO encoding + ID3v1).

I have updated the player to the last version, 1.23 US MTP.

Hmm, I managed to fix this (somewhat) by using samsung's software, emodio, instead of just copying files to the device.

However that does raise another problem. Emodio just copies all the mp3's in the root directory, how annoying. The problem is that I have different tracks that are on different albums but have the same name (see, Tommy and Live at Leeds both have 01 - Overture.mp3). Is there a program (WMP or winamp maybe?) that will automatically create a decent folder structure on the player when transferring, or at least keep mine? Or is the only solution to put the album in the file name?

I just got my new Q1 pmp and its awsome!

How did you resolve the problem? I cannot get mine to b erecognized by Windows at all!!
In the Control Panel, under System/Hardware/Device Manager, the Q1 is shown but is suggesting that drivers are not installed. It is not listed under My Computer as a Removeable Drive either? Any ideas??
Windows Media Player 11 Installed, Emo Dio software installed from supplied CD, but tere is no driver software on the included CD either??

I am having the same issues with my samsung!!.... Do I need an updated driver??

Windows does not recognize the device!!

I have contacted samsung... but all they ask me to do is reinstall the software, which I have done a million times!!

Does anyone have any answers??
