Smile Blue Wave, memory and flashing light questions

Hey all,

I got a YP P2 a month or so back and think it is a fantastic little gadget. I am a total n00b (to the extent where I'd not even heard of Blue Wave until yesterday!)

I have a few questions and decided to join this forum in the hope that you might be able to enlighten me....

1) When I listen to my P2 at night, the blinking light *realllly* irritates me. It practically lights up the whole room! Is there any way of turning it off??? (I know I can lay it face-down, but still... there must be a way??)

2)
I've heard people mentioning a dictionary for the P2 that comes with the latest blue wave download. I went to Samsungs site, and there is no mention of this feature with the firm ware downloads... anyway, I downloaded the firm ware and updated my P2, but still there is no dictionary. Could someone please shed some light on this????

3) Apart from buying a new unit with more memory, is there any way of upgrading the memory?

4) When is the next Blue Wave rumoured to be released, and is it true that it's supposed to have a voice recording feature??

5) Are there any speakers available for the P2? If so, what ones are regarded as 'the best'? If not, do you know if there are any planned???

That's all I can think of for now, though I'm sure I had more questions. Hmm, oh well, thanks in advance and I look forward to your responses!

Cheers,

Jon

1. No way to turn it off currently. Probably best to get a case that covers it up
2. Download it here, then drag it onto your P2 in a new folder (in the main part) called "Dictionary".
3. Not that is known, I doubt opening it up could do anything about it
4. Late May, yes
5. Yes, perhaps someone else can recommend one?

2) You have to have a Korean version of the firmware on your P2. Check the stickies.
3) If you know how, and have the right robots, yes, but otherwise impossible.
5) Samsung makes some Bluetooth speakers for the P2 and the T10 etc. (BS3000 I think)

5) If you have an iPod dock, Best Buy sells an Insignia Bluetooth adapter for any iPod Dock. About $50. Or if you don't have a dock of any sort, get that adapter, then take your pick of all the iPod docks available. I have one and it's great!

5) If you're thinking of getting a speaker, then i don't recommend a bluetooth speaker. just take a speaker with a normal plug. i own a Nokia MD-3 speaker, a very nice speaker, powerfull sound, very nice bass, and build in amplifier. it is a good speaker. asked my brother about bluetooth speaker, but he sais that bluetooth speakers has crapy sound most of the time. so if you want a good speaker get the MD-3

Is your region Korean?
When you go to the "About" screen on your P2,
does it say KR 4.13
[or whatever version you have]?

Then make the dictionary folder yourself.
Just make sure you spell it right.
