Not downloading until a mod can confirm this, especially with the conficker scare that's currently going around.

Just update your antivirus and you'll be fine.... if it doesn't warn you, the problem is with your antivirus, not with Conficker. That virus has been around since October. Anyone who isn't protected against it by now deserves to get it.

The file is perfectly safe: http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/6...e08da1f4cfd94b
Thanks for sharing the app, S3T. This might come in handy, seems to work perfectly fine. I hate nothing more than ID3 browsing. Deserves a sticky.

Just some hints:
The app requires .NET 2.0 installed on your computer. The app needs to reside in the root of your Clip to work.

There also is a playlist creator available at the SanDisk Clip forum. I'm not sure how it compares.

Here's something else to look at if you are having trouble getting this to work.
On my computer, my music is organized like this: \music\artist\album\track# - artist - title.mp3 But when if I sync songs to my clip in Media Monkey, it goes in like this: \music\artist\album\title.mp3 The track # and artist are removed from the file name on the clip. That messed with my playlists, since my playlists were looking for music files with track # and artist in the file name. Here is a small playlist I made: #EXTM3U #EXTINF:174,Amos Lee - Dreamin' Amos Lee\Amos Lee\Dreamin'.mp3 #EXTINF:214,Ben Harper - Burn to Shine \Ben Harper\Burn to Shine\Burn to Shine.mp3 #EXTINF:220,Inxs - New Sensation INXS\Kick\2 - New Sensation.mp3 The Amos Lee song plays and the Ben Harper song doesn't because I removed the leading "\" from in front of the Amos Lee line. The INXS song doesn't play for two reasons, one being the leading "\" and the other being that the song life includes "2 - " but my computer synced just new sensation.mp3. Hope this all helps people who are still confused. Cheers. Eric |

If you transferred your audio files to the Clip in MTP mode, get them off again and re-transfer them in MSC mode, then all should be fine. The Sansa MTP/MSC implementation is a gigantic hassle if you mix both (MSC mode doesn't see files transferred in MTP mode, and vice versa).

Haha, just got my second one because the first one died. (Never did get the same player twice before, that's how good the Clip is, IMO.)
