The SanDisk Sansa e200 v2, c200 v2, m200 (v2), clip and Fuse are all based on the same hardware, collectively referred to as the V2 Sansa. Unfortunately, all the cheap refurb deals seem to give V1s still.
The clip isn't interesting because it has no DRAM. Whats the cheapest you can get any of the V2 series? I'm guessing the m200 or c200 1GB would be cheapest, but its not clear how I could be sure to get a V2 model. |

I know you can get a 1GB Sansa Clip for about $30 to $40.

Is the v2 more expensive? I got mine on an RMA, so...
edit: I have an e260v2 |

They are not more money. It is just harder to find out if you have a v1 or v2.
Add one thing is I think the m200 with the AMS chip is the m200v4 if I am reading the fimware info on the Sandisk site. |

I know but I can't use it for the above reason.

Oops, sorry misread. The M200v4 and c200v2 might be the cheapest way, but I do not know if there is a way to know for sure.
