Help p2 not recognized on one computer but fine on another???

my family desktop will recognize my p2 for like 10 seconds then it drops it. in the device manager it has the code 10 thing. it works fine on my moms laptop
(...im 15).the usb port on the desktop is 2.0 i updated windows and did the microsoft update. and my mom uses her laptop alot so i can't just use her laptop all the time for charging and media. any fix TIA

Do you know if her USB ports work with other items in it...I have a reason for asking....LOL

Maybe a program running is causing conflict or a Processes that is running.


Kill Programs :


Quote:
1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Type msconfig
4. Click Tab Startup
5. Click Disable All
6. Check the boxes of your antivirus (Norton,Symantec,avg,avast,etc...)
7. Click Apply
8. Click Close
9. Click Restart
After rebbot :

1. Plug Your samsung p2
2. Wait for native drivers to load for "MPT"

To shacky56- the desktop and laptop port both work with other devices.

To artifactz- tried it but didn't work.
