Lightbulb Samsung P2 Mp3 Guide

In this guide i will teach how to rip, convert, load ID2 Tags, load ID3 Art (album art).

Software needed :

Free CD Music Converter XS1

The "Swiss Army Knife of Digital Audio" rips Audio CDs, converts music files, and burns Audio CDs, MP3 CDs, and Data CDs. Supports all popular audio file formats. Digitally rip audio CDs (fastest). Convert between audio formats and preserve ID tags. Convert from anything. Volume normalize. ID tag editing.
Version XS1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

I have the the professinal version of this software theres really no difference, both do an excellent job at audio tasks.

Free CD Music Converter XS1 - Here

Download and install

Step 1 -

Launch Free CD Music Converter XS1 :

1.Click on "Audio Cd Ripper"
2.Load the your music cd
3.Once the cd-rom finish reading the disc the files should populate
4.Check on the files you want

5.On the "Output" tab (bottom left hand corner), tick on the 1st tab select .mp3 (MPEG Layer-3)
6.Click on the next tab select "CD-Quality" (192kbps) or "Near CD-Quality" (128kbps)
7.Click on "Audo processing", Check Normalize amd RMS Power
8.Click on "RMS Power" square arrow up till you get the number -9

9.Click on "Output" tab
10.Check on Enable ID3 V1 and Enable ID3 V2
11.You can change the Output Folder or leave as is, Double click in "Output filesnames" slot till all is highlighted blue
12.Copy and paste this code : <number><number>.

13.For album art you can use "Additonal" ID3 (On the right handside). Either load in you own custom picture (500x500 max) or use the "Download" tab to search for a picture

14.Once that is done click on "Rip Cd" (righthand bottom corner)
Step 2 -

Plug your Samgsung P2:

1.Navigate to first "Root Directory"

2.Navigate to C:\My Music "New Album"

3.Drag and Drop or Copy and Paste "New Album" over to the samsung window

4.Unplug Samsung P2 after transfer is complete. Files should be updated.

5.Turn On Samung P2

6.Touch "Music", then to "Albums"

And there you go, it should appear.

Note: i dont recommend wma or ogg music files.
1. File size not really much of a diference
2. Bitrate of wma and ogg use more battery life.
3. Ogg doesnt have album art
