Zune 80 Alternative

I really like the Zune 80 as far as a player goes. I think it has the perfect screen size and I also like the d-pad style interface. The problem is the Zune software. I run Linux and I need a plain MTP player or a UMS/MSC player. Even if I could get the Zune syncing properly I'd still need to convert my videos.

Basically what I'm looking for is something with the Zune's screen size/form factor that runs UMS or MTP.

I have a 504 and love it. If you wanna go slimmer w/a touch screen PLUS buttons, get the 604 or the 604 wifi or get the newer 605 series.
