Default Sansa Clip and iPod Shuffle size comparison?

i'm very interested in buying a sansa clip. unfortunately, nobody in canada seems to sell them. does anybody have a picture of one with an ipod shuffle so that i can get a good idea of the size before i place my order? sizeasy and the comparisons with larger mp3 players aren't really doing it for me.

thanks.

Sorry, no pics here. Having a Clip, it seems just slightly bigger than the Apple player and the clip on the Clip makes it slightly thicker. But as you know, they're both small, and so the size differences are generally immaterial, unless you have a specific use and size limitations in mind.

Any size differences are vastly outweighed by the Clip's many benefits: good sound, screen, removable clip, drag-and-drop file ease, FM radio, recording capability, etc. Get it--you likely will not regret it.

One caveat--if you are looking for a player that is similar to jewelry, the Apple may be the better choice ...

Default Clip VS 1st Generation Shuffle Pics

Clip VS 1st generation shuffle pics. FWIW without the clip attached, the Clip is exactly the same thickness as the shuffle (even though it’s hard to see from the side view pic).

Future Shop has them listed online. Since I live about 2.5 hours from the nearest FS, I don't know about their stores.

The main thing the clip has that the shuffle doesn't is a screen. The shuffle will litery shuffle your music. While the clip wil allow you to choose your songs.

if you're really desperate, you can always take the dimensions and make a box out of paper.

Walkgood, as you pointed out, the picture you displayed illustrates the original iPod Shuffle, and not the current one. The Shuffle 2 trimmed down in size as well as triimming down in SQ. I think a beter comparison in size would be to compare the later Shuffle.

Just for you ... iPod Nano vs Sansa Clip (est.) vs IPOD SHUFFLE vs samsung YP-U3, just click the appropriate button and you can see a 3d view, front view, side view or top view (sizeasy from humblefrog).

Sorry I said Future Shop NOT Best Buy. I didn't see it on Best Buy either. (I'm about eight hours from a Best Buy, I think).

That's the 2GB blue. They have other colours, but not the 4GB.

Mikerman, Cruel World:

He was asking about Canada not the US. Amazon, Big Buy & Walmart carry very different stock in Canada than in the USA (and the US web-sites won't ship to Canada). And no Sansa Clips that I have seen. Heck, I was in a US Walmart earlier in March and didn't see a Clip.

The images shown on sizeasy isn't quite right. I took a blurry pic. Shuffle, Clip (clip removed), and two Kingston flash drives.
