So I'm a current sansa e280 owner and am woundering if I should buy the Archos 605 WiFi 4 GB. I currently own a psp 2000 to and am thinking if I should get the 4GB version 605 for movies, and surfing the web (mainly using flash for Youtube and other websites). Anyway...
1. Is it actually worth the $200 I'd pay for it? Also for only 4GB? 2. Is there going to be bigger size flash versions coming ut soon? 3. I know 802.11b is slow but is it faster than some of the browsers out there. 4. I heard the user interface is screwed up on it but you get the hang of it after a while right? 5. Is it actually worth all the money you invest in everything for it? Those are my main concerns. Please answer as soon as you can. Thx.

Now I'm always out of power... ![]() Since I'm mostly in car or plane. I got myself some decent external USB power packs to mitigate the problem. I wouldn't buy a 4Gb 605 if I were you. Go for more space. |

1. I own an 80gb Archos 605, and I have to say it was definitely worth the money. 4gb isn't that much, but it does take SDHC cards.
2. As far as I know, there's not going to be a bigger size. Maybe for the next generation flash model. 3. The browser on mine loads pretty quickly. I have no issues with speed. 4. I've heard that from a number of people too, so I guess I'm one of a handful of people who the interface makes sense to. One thing I remember someone complaining about is that the x button on the top right corner is used to go back through menus. Made sense to me, but I guess not for everyone. 5. After everything I bought for it (2 plugins, 2 game packs, DVR station and battery dock), I can honestly say I have no regrets in spending that money. Couldn't be happier with it. |
