Default Where’s the sci.calculator and touch notepad?

Hello all, I am confused, on the cowon website (http://www.cowonglobal.com/product_w...2_addition.php) they say “Scientific Calculator with numerical formula editing capability” and “Touch screen Notepad” but on Youtube I cannot find any video which shows this functions. Also, some models have 7 icons (Music, Video, Pictures, Text, Radio, Record, Settings) in main menu and some have 8 icons (additional Dictionary), and picture on upper webpage (or here: http://www.cowonglobal.com/product_w...ddition_05.jpg) shows 10 icons. Is this only firmware difference, new firmware enables more features then old one or there are different models of this player? I am interested in 8Gb COWON D2 model with FM radio for European market. Suggestions on where to buy it are welcome.

Those tinkertoys have been introduced with new firmware updates (2.50 and up), they weren't available in the old firmwares. Every D2, be it 2 to 8GB, DAP or non-DAP, supports those.

The dictionary (9th icon) is only available in the Korean 3.xx firmwares, not in the international 2.xx firmwares. You can still install any firmware you want on your D2, no limitations at all.

Current status: international firmwares have 8 icons on the main screen, Korean firmwares have 9 icons. The videos you've been watching are rather old, I assume.

Sorry, I meant "DAB" (digital audio broadcasting = digital radio besides the usual FM radio).

It's this one (probably not available in the USA, since they don't do DAB): http://www.amazon.de/COWON-tragbarer...4932712&sr=8-1

Oh, you're in Beograd... well, if you don't care for radio stuff, just get the regular one.
