Default Proll already known, but the Clip is one of the best sounding MP3 players ever.

I've owned numerous MP3 players over the past few months trying to find the best one for me.

Ipod Touch
Ipod Nano
Zune 8
Zune 80
Samsung P2
Samsung T10
Creative Zen V Plus 4gb
Creative Zen 8gb
Sony NWZA818
Ipod Shuffle

And a few others that I can't remember.

I currently own a 2gb Clip because I lost my 8gb Zune and needed a cheap MP3 player till I saved up some money, but I don't think thats gonna need to happen. This Clip is an amazing little player, sounds friggin amazing, nice and small but doesn't feel cheap, and has a lot of features for it's price point. Like the comparison on the main page here the Clip just stomps all over the Ipod Shuffle. One of the best $60.00 purchases I've ever made.

Only cause I just bought it today. I never gave this player a chance in the past but I needed to get a new MP3 player for cheap. 2gb is all I will ever need for music so i won't be getting rid of this thing till it dies....or until I lose it.

I got my first clip for $60 after much researching. I ended-up getting 3 more for the kids at $34 a piece on black friday. Different colors for different people keeps them straight and I still spent about the same amount as if I bought just 1 Zune 8 or iPod nano. I'm really happy.

I'm thinking he did what I did with my c250 v1. Buy it, try it, hate it, return it.

I own an e250 and it's the biggest piece of crap, next to an iPod, that I've ever used. Now I give 'em a thorough test and if they don't cut it, they go back to the store under the "satisfaction guaranteed" banner (15 days or whatever). Open Box Special for Somebody Else. That was the destiny of the c250, for a number of reasons. Blechhh.

The Clip OTOH was a shockingly pleasant surprise as I had very nearly sworn off SanDisk, after 2 strikes. A Stone was next in line for an evaluation and I'm happy to say I didn't need to go there and - I'm reformed - no more hating on Sansa (well, the e250 still gets my angst FTTT)...
