About two years ago i got a Samsung YH-J70J for christmas. A few days ago i put WHAT WAS THOUGHT to be a firmware upgrade onto it and when the update completed, all was left was a white screen constantly. Is there any way of "flashing" the memory on the player or wiping the HDD? Yes i've tried to format it via vista and XP, yet it doesn't work, therefore its basically DEAD. Also i can't move files onto the player, so "flashing" the memory seems to be my only option.
Thanks in advance; Justin |

is it recognized when you connect it to your computer? If yes, try to put another firmware into it: http://www.3friends.co.uk/j70/index.php
(choose version 2.05 or 2.07)

Sorry, I didn't read it.
But if you can connect it to your computer, just try to format it (in FAT 32) If you can't connect it to your computer, then I don't see any solution
