Hi People,
New to the forum, greetings to all. I have a Sony NWZ-E454 that is playing slow, the music sounds like it is at approx half speed. It is fully charged and I have tried the reset (pin) button a few times, but it makes no difference. Much appreciate any hints/tips info. Many thanks

... cancel that request ... I have found out that it is actually fitted with a speed control, the user had changed the speed accidentally! Why you would want to have a speed control on an MP3 player is beyond me ...

I find it very useful when listening to long podcasts and audiobooks. As an example, when I increase the speed to 1.1 it reduces the length of a 1 hour podcast by about 6 minutes while still being very understandable, the speed increase is barely noticable. I've found that it only becomes too "chipmunky" to listen to when I increase the speed by more than 1.25.
