Default iAudio SW5

Cowon, a company who, as of late, has been known for their powerhouse, all-inclusive devices such as their premium D2 and recently released Q5W, has left one area of the DAP market untreaded: the low-end. The U5 was met with nothing but dismay from a user base which was expecting a replacement to the company's last HDD powerhouse, the iAudio X5.

Well, never fear! Cowon has released a very rough mock-up of an upcoming flash player, the iAudio SW5. The SW undoubtedly stands for "stopwatch", as this player comes with a fancy little wrist band which the SW5 can plug into (pictures unavailable at this time, but I expect it looks like a typical watchband).

Specs:
Capacities: 1GB, 2GB
Supported audio: MP3, WMA, AAC
Extras: Photo viewer, FM radio, clock/alarm, timer
Dimensions: 1.7" x 1.6" x 0.32"
Weight: 0.6 ounces
Battery: 12 hours
Screen: 1.5" OLED

It's been said the SW5 will connect to the band through the headphone jack, so this player is usable without the band, if that's your thing.

We've been told those triangles and the OK button are a 5 way controller, much like the one found on the Toshiba's Gigabeat models.

I don't know about you guys, but this one looks like a winner!
