Default rockbox, amarok and album art

I'm looking for a script/program that will use the album art that Amarok has in it's database and re-size/convert it to the proper (100x100) sized .bmp, and place that image in the album folder when Amarok is used to transfer songs onto my Rockboxed Sansa e200. My goal is that Rockbox can display album art while playing.

Rockbox WPS Cover Creator script for Amarok (http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=38747) looked promising, but it's definitely not putting .bmp files in with the music files when they are transfered to the Sansa,

Any suggestions?

I tried that script too, but didn't like it. Now I use Album Cover Art Downloader. I think its also referred to as albumart-qt. It does not integrate into amarok, but it does what it is designed to do well, and it is cross platform. 100% customizable - save albumart named anything to any folder, or put in id3 tags, or both. Automatically finds most album art from up to 4 databases including amazon, walmart, etc.

Give it a try. In some linux distributions, the latest version will give an error because one of the .py files is missing encoding header info. google it to fix it. You just need to put a line at the top that has the right char set.

I second albumart-qt. I have been using it for years.

Yep. It doesn't do much, but it does what it was made for well. I have~300 songs on my sansa, and I can get all the cover art for them in 5-10 minutes with it. It downloads 90% right, and then I go back and fix the wrong covers/blank covers. The better your music is tagged the better it will work.
