Default Problem with Rockboy emulator

I have a folder on my 250r with all of my gameboy roms in it. When I go to that folder to play some gameboy, my games don't show up. Anyone know what the problem may be? I just installed rockbox last night so I am still learning it. Any help is appreciated.

go to your settings and select show all files. Make sure they are the right filetype (unzipped/etc).

I found the show all files and I have enabled that, but then I got another problem. I click the gameboy roms (yes they have the right file extension) and I get "Data Abort" and "Undefined Instruction" messages and the game doesn't start. What does this mean?

It most likely means your gameboy roms are corrupted.

I can't tell you where to get other ones, but I would recommend trying a different source and seeing if they work. If you can get one to work you know the problem is your ROMS.

I don't think that they are corrupted though, as they work on my computer, DS, and PSP.

Well, if you can play them on your computer, DS, and PSP why do you also need to play them on you player?

That's a good question. The only reason why I want to is because the sansa is so small and I always have it with me.

Hmmm

Not really sure what the problem is. Maybe you could provide a little more info?

Have you tried long select and open with Rockboy?

I've tried long select. It shows like an error message that says

Undefined instruction
at c2000008 (0)

then the player crashes and I have to hold the power button for like 20 seconds.

Try using a custom build, just to see if its works.

Switching builds fixed it. Thanks!

How about doing some research before asking uneducated questions?
