Tutorial: Displaying Lyrics On Your P2

Damn. I installed Lyrics Station, downloaded few lrc filed for selected songs, but it tells "invalid format" when im trying apply them. And even crashed ones )

I'm curious as to what method samsung uses for the timed things and such. Is it a specialized id3 tag or something else? And are these "highlights" synchronized with the song? if so, how is this achieved? just curious...

just means that one needs all of the title, album, and artist data correct for this to work, right?

i'm not actually too sure how they do it... but i do know for a fact that its a standard method because my iriver h320 had the exact same method (in fact the exact same searching method too)

yes you need all the title, album, and artist data for it to work... its basically only the artist and title which i assume everyone's is set correctly seeing that to use the p2 you need it set correctly

So the lyrics files must have some sort of embedded timing tags. I guess you can't just paste in lyrics from the 'net, huh?

yeah you can't do that... and what's the point of that when lyrics station finds the lyrics for you and syncs it??

what if we don't have any lyrics? where can we download lyrics? Can we manually type the lyrics in? Because most of my files apparently has VBR. But the ones that don't, still doesn't work as i don't have the lyrics. How do I format the lyrics? Better yet, where do i Download the lyrics? It seems that it can't find any of the lyrics for any of my songs!

okay i think i know, some of my newer songs are too new. Some of them are international songs like the songs from the movie soundtrack "Once". I guess that's why it's not in there! Plus it's been flagged with VBR

yea if your file has VBR it isn't supported
if you want to input your own lyrics there's a "manage lyrics" icon

How do you get the blue highlight flowy instead of it just being highlighted as a sentence? Also is there any difference between KR 3.15 and 3.07 lyrics wise?

I got the same question as the person above me. It only highlights sentences but i would love if it was flowing, would be amazing.

I am guessing that it might be an effect of the 3.15 firmware, but I haven't tested it yet. Has anyone had success with using minilyrics with the option "save lyrics to the mp3 tags"
