No. The WPS stays. But the plan is to be able to play music from the plugin, by simply clicking on an Album Cover.

Ok, this is weird. I got it to work but the album art I loaded was too big, so it got cropped and only showed the top rite corner. So I re-sized it all and loaded it all on again (plus some more) bit I still only see the art I loaded before, chopped off at the corner as before. I also noteced that when I change theme I have to delete all the database files (.tdc) and start it again, but this is no problem.

Red face

@Pinenose: I did the same thing, but after I resized everything to 100x100 I went to the .rockbox/rocks/demos directory and deleted the pictureflow folder (not the .rock file) to force a rebuild of the pictureflow database. You'll have to suffer through the 2min build again, but it is worth it.

Do any of the custom builds have the latest pictureflow plugin yet? I don't want to have to resize all my bmps to 100x100

I'm rebuilding my build again, due to WPS problems, but it should have it once I finish. At the moment, I'm only compiling the linux simulator, since only about five patches are in it so far.

So, clicking the center button will eventually allow you to open a list of songs? Cool.

Also, I think the "Demo" plugins category should be renamed to something more useful.

No, it's suitable. It's just a demo, it doesn't make you able to select your music. You can just view your album arts.

And just as obviously, when it's actually used for something, it probably won't be a demo any more, now will it?

I'd post a few, but all I get on mine is the default question mark image for all of my albums.

does it support embedded art? And even if it doesn't, this is a cool feature.
