Default Sansa problems, please read...

Hi. I'm having a bit of trouble with my cousin's Sansa e260. You see, it runs perfectly fine... until you unplug it from your computer. Then, it immediately shuts off, without going through the actual shutdown process. It just goes off, faster then you can blink. Now, if you plug the USB cord in part way so that the Sansa reads it as a speaker dock, I'm able to use it. but as soon as the cord slips, it's off. I tried upgrading and downgrading the Firmware, uninstalling Rockbox, and then deleting every file on it. I'm starting to get frustrated, and I have nothing else to do. Please, someone answer me. I need info ASAP.
Thanks!

What do you mean when the cord slips? Is that from the speaker dock port?

I meant when the cord gets unplugged. When I'm trying to use it without having it in full USB mode.

What speaker dock do you have? Plus try reseating the battery too.

This is not the fault of the battery. My sansa also had the same problem..Problem is either with your usb cable or that the charging board is fried..first check ur usb cable..if that is fine..then check ur charging board..
