Upgraded to 1.03

I upgraded my e200 to 1.03 in the hopes of it finally being recognized properly by a usb port and charging the battery for real not just listing full battery and shutting down 5 minutes after operation. Okay so my question is how to get the Sansa to be recognized WHEN the usb cord is plugged in and how to fix the batteries from not charging... Any help greatly appreciated... thnx

0) Might've been better to post this in the 'general' forum .. but here goes.
1) Has it ever worked?
2) Have you tried a different computer?
3) Or a different USB port? (If you're using an unpowered hub, you might try directly into a USB port
4) Different cable?
5) Try reseating the battery?
