Repeating load screen?

I have a Clix Gen1 & get a repeating load screen. I went to update the Firmware & since then, the thing will not go any further than the "Iriver Clix" load screen, Kinda like the reset button is stuck or something. I saw that post showing how to open it up, but as talented as I am with electronics internal workings I might as well take a hammer to it. Can anyone help me out here?? it turns on but does not load up fully & my comp wont recognize it either.

BTW - I do love my clix, but Iriver Tech support has not done ANYTHING to help me.

The update (which appear as stuck screen) can take as long as 15mins. Just give it some time.

Actually I have not updated my firmware, Infact the problem came when I was tring to transfer some avi files to my clix, But unfortunately My PC hangged up !!! So I disconnected the clix.

Now When I am tring to power it on .....my clix is restarting again n again showing the welcome Iriver screen , n after 10-15min the screen stucks.

I even tried to reset the clix using the reset option with a pin. But its not solving my problem.

Please suggest how to over come this problem .

Probably the firmware is corrupted (very badly) when you disconnected your clix. I think you might need to deplete (or disconnect) the battery in order to hard reset your player.

Done the same . But same problem exists. I think I need to visit service center.

I opened it and disconnected the battery and but it back but it still doesn't work
