Default Help with buying a new player

I was wondering if I could get some feed back on a good replacement for my Sansa c240. I really like what I have but the memory is not enough. I would like to have around 4 GB plus maybe a little bigger screen. My budget is around $75-$100.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Gerts

For that price there’s not too much…did you consider the e200 series and the fact it can be rockboxed.

I see on buy.com there is a refurbished e260 for $65. Would that be a good player?

Gerts, that sounds like an OK price, but that is really up to you if it is a good price.

I understand about the price thing. I guess what I am wanting to know is if the e260 is a good player. All I have ever owned is the c240 so I have nothing to compare it to. I am almost wondering if I should just by a 2gb micro card and call it done at a total of 3gb. The prices sure are dropping on the the chips. It is to bad we cant use the 4gb card in the c240.

The e200s and the c200s are basically the same players but for the looks. Plus you could get a 2GB microSD card. If you want to go higher then 2GB for microSD cards, you might want to look at Rockbox.
