view mtp and msc at the same time in linux?

if i wanna explore and move around files from mtp and msc, can i use linux to view all folders of both modes at the same time?
or should i just use msc only..

If you connect the player via MTP or MSC, the same folders should be viewable on the player.. I'm confused by your question.

no .. the msc folders are different than mtp folders. loaded music in either mode is not visible in the other mode--although all music is viewable on device itself..
