Default usb support,....anyone know any details??

basically, I cant figure out if there is a usb patch out yet that works. If so, please fill me in

I was surprised earlier today because by mistake i plugged my sansa while i was in a rockbox plugin and my computer detected as a "rockbox player" or something like that instead of just restarting in the OF.It just did that, didnt allowed me to see it in "My Computer" But, at least that proves that it is progressing...

Its always been recognized by windows as a mass storage device.... But its never actually worked -- That is, to date. I've been with Sansa rockbox almost since it's inception, before it had actual audio support. Always acted like this. However, I've heard through the grapevine that progress is being made.

Yes. Right now the USB program requests full charge power via USB. Some progress has been made in mounting as UMS, but a driver (player-side) is being developed.

Don't hold your breath on USB support though. There are platforms that still don't have it after over a year of being out.

The Sansa is close to a year though

I tried charging with RB yesterday, and its kinda slow... Went from 53% to 58% in what, 2 hours?
