I've had about 7 different playlists on the device and I am sure you can add more.
In addition to Windows Media Player, there are three other ways to make playlists on the A810 player:
  • MediaMonkey: Allows you to create playlists and load them on your player much like Windows Media Player.
  • Content Transfer (with iTunes): Content Transfer (a free program you can download from Sony) allows you to drag-and-drop songs and playlists from iTunes on to your player. However, it will not let you transfer copy-protected files from iTunes. Also, you can use Content Transfer to load files on your player by dragging and dropping them into Content Transfer, or by syncronizing a folder.
  • Windows Explorer: Using Windows Explorer, you can go into the "Music" folder on your player, select music files, right click on them ("Create Playlist" is one of the options), and create a playlist (this was mentioned recently by another poster).
I hope that helps.

Yes. If you go into "Settings" >> "Language Settings" you can set it for the following languages:
  • German
  • English
  • Spanish
  • French
  • Italian
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Japanese (may not be available depending on the release region)
  • Korean
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Traditional Chinese
(The above was taken from the Operation Guide for the NWZ-A815/A816/A818 players).
