OKay, I've looked through other forums, but I can't find anything. I have tried every USB port on my PC, but every time I do the drivers fail to install. So I have my wonderfully awesome clip sitting here useless. Any suggestions?

Vista. I spoke with SanDisk Customer support. They were very friendly and had me request a hotfix from Microsoft. I'm waiting for the file to be emailed to me (~12 hour turn around), but hopefully it works.
I'll let everyone know what I find in case some one else runs into the same problem. Here is the microsoft link for the problem I'm having. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937187 |

Could you try the Clip in MSC mode?
Edit: Here is a thread that tells you how to put it in MSC mode. http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...ad.php?t=21296 |

to put it in MSC mode, put it on hold, and then hold the center button while plugging it in.

Putting the Clip in MSC mode worked like a charm. Thanks. ARe there any other benifits to running in MSC mode. I guess I should search the forums before I ask that huh?
