Its not there, I think they removed it
ha, nevermind, just saw it, pretty funny but I think its just a mistake on Sandisk's part.....or is it?!?! Edit: just realized there are several points in the specs that im questioning, first of all they claim it comes with a protective case which it doesn't according to recent View owners. Also I guess the battery life 'improved' because I remember being rate 35 hrs not audio and 7 for video, not 40 and 8. And not they say they have a 32 gb model? Whats next will they claim it can do your laundry and doubles as razor?

I’m happy to see that SanDisk is committed to growing their lines with new players and exploring new frontiers. This latest news will definitely be a blow to other flash based product manufactures
...well, as long as they get it to the market fast enough first at a fair price

what's surprising is that they announce this before even releasing the others on the market I expected it was coming though, the big flash company losing the "first 16GB flash player" title to creative what this also means is that flash might take the market back from harddrive players which has dominated over flash since they released. Only thing really left for harddrive is larger PVPs, and more affordable or high capacity PMPs (but with players like the Vision M and Gigabeat S gone, that seems to be dying) edit: looks like I've been merged |

Nice, but I think it's a typo or something. maybe the person who typed it had no clue what he was typing.

Quote:
because 1. It's not in the place of anything, it's clearly written after the 8GB and 16GB and 2. The prices support the claim, $150 is the price for the 8GB, and $330 (though expensive) would make sense for the 32GB |

Why wouldnt it be true? Sandisk, I am assuming, is going to be the first supplier of 32GB flash chips for the mainstream, so why not put a chip in their own player? They don't need to make a profit on it because their profit comes from selling the chips to other manufacturers. It like Dell. Yeah they manufacture desktops and laptops, but do you think they make money on them, nope. They are in it for the servers. Sandisk exists because they sell memory, not mp3 players.

It seems like a mistake to me. A 32GB View may not be unrealistic, but show the specs of the Connect, or c200 for example, they all show capacities of 32GB... Other sections, like the sansa micro site still show 8GB and 16GB.

Er I can't see it, they must have removed it. And yes I'm looking at the spec sheet.

As of me posting now, Yes, they removed it. Odd. Possibly an OOPS from the marketing group putting it up too early? Who knows. Time will tell.

Well apparently, all of their flash players recieved the 32GB treatment, even the Take TV, which is clearly to small for 32GB. I think it was just a mistake.
