Can someone explain how to switch between mtp/msc? I don't see it as an option under settings.
Thanks |

You can't. The Express and the Clip are MSC/MTP OS Select, so if you have WinXP/Vista they'll work as MTP devices, if you have Mac OS X/Linux they'll work as MSC devices. There is a registry hack but I don't know it, since I haven't got a Clip/Express. Try searching the forums.

lpitt, You might want to give this a try, looks easy enough for anyone and you don't have to uninstall MTP driver or edit the Registry

Thanks, I'll try that. I'm used to irvers where you can switch back and forth if you want to.
So far I love the clip. |

So the clip will definitely show up as a hard drive in Linux if I run it in MSC mode? No problems or weirdness using it with Linux?
Thanks |
