Thanks, it works fine.

I'd like to have a special support for audio books.
F.i. A folder or an album should be markable as "contains audio books".
When playback of such a folder or album is stopped anyway the P2 should be able ro remain where it was and start some seconds before, completely independend from common music playback.
A simple switching between music and audio books should be possible.

Bookmarking with file and playback time would do the job, too.

I still have another wish.
There should be two different shut up timeouts, one with and one without a BT headset connected.
When I stop playing listening with a BT headset, f.i. when I have to react to my environment in any way, it happens that the P2 shuts up.
A restart without turning the BT headset off causes a none working AVRCP BT profile. The A2DP BT profile works but the P2 can't be controled any longer.
The headset shoud be started after the P2!
For BT I would like to have a significant longer shut down timeout.

To mention it: the P2 starts even faster than my old YP-T8 and the file browser makes it better than my Sansa E280.

Further I miss a lot of thumbnails for self added images.
Btw. are ther any pan, zoom and rotate functions?

Shine On, Frank

I want a voice-recording function asap because that was one of the main reasons I wanted a P2.

Going into college, I only need two practical things:

(1) Voice Recorder
(2) Scientific Calculator (I already have one, but it would be awesome anyway)

  • random album playback

Hey great ideas guys, these really would be great in this device. After reading this thread

I love the idea of a on-screen key board for memo's that pop up on the screen when the countdown to the day has ended.

A sketch pad (for when i just get bored)

I would also be cool for a full screen visualization like in windows media player (bars and waves)

Finally some cool programs i found on the new Sony Erickson phone had a photo customizer to edit your photos - talk about a all-in-one device. And to really throw something out there (like on the Erickson) and song creator or mixer- a sort of fun thing to do when your waiting to get picked up from school.

i liked the idea on the T9 but its kinda useless if nobody can write games for it

I would like to be able to adjust the volume levels via the side buttons when the device is locked, I find it a pain in the arse to have to unlock the unit just to do this task everytime.

and you dont need to go to at&t/rogers(in canada), plus you can also have a phone with the features the iPhoney is missing to compensate for it.

Just one thing I miss, or at least did not find yet: 24hr time display. 12hr display with am/pm is not very common in Europe, at least in Germany...
