hey im looking to get a new earbuds. Are there any good, popular ear buds out there that fit what i want?
1. i like the jack thingy to be straight, not L shaped. 2. color-black 3. decent sound. i want it to be better than the earbuds that came with my Insigna. 4. Under 50$ 5. comfortable to use for a few hours. i watch movies and listen music for a few hours straight sometimes. some earbuds i have had before hurts my ear after using it for 30 minutes.

Have you looked on this thread? There are some interesting earbuds in there; most (if not all) of them under your price range.

Earbuds are the kind that sit in your ear. They come with most DAPs. In-ear or IEM or Canal phones all make a tight seal inside the ear to produce accurate sound. IEM/Canal phones isolate better and usually sound better than buds. Some people can have trouble getting a good seal with IEM/Canal phones, with the Marshmallow probably being the hardest due to the tips that come with them. If you can get a good seal then the mallows are pretty decent, but don't expect miracles.

New ones are meant to be better.
Sure they are too. Not going to make worse ones. Apparently better than CX300, EP-630 etc |

Will someone else please buy the EP630 so I am not alone with these awesome canal phones? And because I want to see a comparison with the CX300.
