Default Does the D2 have a speaker?
My hearing is really bad so wearing more headphone will only fuck up my ear so does this thing have a speaker? Or can you buy an external one and plug it into the 3.5mm headjack?

damnit really wanted a d2 with internal speaker so i dont have to use headphones
how much does external ones go for..something like an ipod dock..cheap and gets the job done?

Does anyone know how to go about connecting the D2 to a PDA phone which has a speaker? The PDA phone has a 2.5mm connection point for headphone as opposed to the normal 3.5mm ones (will need a headjack)

That 2.5mm jack usually is only an output, not an input. You can't connect the D2 to use the PDA's speaker.

Get some decent 2.1 system, that might be the cheapest/easiest way to relatively good sound. Altec Lansing, Klipsch, Logitech, ... there are many of those available, for every wallet size ($30-$300).

Any puny PDA speaker (or similar stuff) would be an insult to the D2's great audio quality, anyway.

Well you gotta say what youre using it for, because portable speakers arent really as portable as headphones in any case, so you have to specify a size

na dont bother..just for home use (for portable i will definitely being use a headphone)
i know for ipod my mate has a dock..is there something similiar for this?

I don't think there is any speaker dock made specifically for the D2, but if you ask Cptnodegard nicely maybe he could make one.
