ok so I desperatly want to use this in my new audio player:
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...492523,00.html but guess what? IPOD uses a different connector than my f40 gigabeat. option 1) in theory I think I could use: -----[IPOD CONNECTOR MALE][FEMALE IPOD CONNECTOR]-----[FEMALE USB][GIGABEAT] <ipod connector="" male=""><female ipod="" connector=""><usb connector="" male=""><female gigabeat="" connection="">Problem is I have yet to find this cord with these connectors: </female></usb></female></ipod> [FEMALE IPOD CONNECTOR]-----[FEMALE USB] <ipod connector="" male=""><female ipod="" connector=""><usb connector="" male=""><female gigabeat="" connection=""> <female ipod="" connector=""><usb connector="" male=""> OR option 2) http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...543221,00.html Problem with this is that it is TWICE the $$ I am not positive that it will allow my car audio unit to CONTROL the drive instead of being forced to still using the gigabeat, (although it is listed in its features that it should). I have been casually searching for new ideas or parts to make my gigabeat compatible with ipod accessories like this but am having no luck other than my ideas posted above. PLEASE tell me there is something to make this easier. </usb></female></female></usb></female></ipod>
