Default K5 File Transfer Problem

It seems that using my K5 as portable memory for files other music is a hassle. For some reason every time I try to copy and paste any file into the Internal Storage I got an "Error Copying File".

"Cannot copy "filename" : The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected."

It then prompts me to either skip, skip all or cancel. What I find unusual is that fact when I sync my music with windows media player 11 it is able to do so. So just what is my problem here?

Try update the firmware. I think some firmware only allowed MTP transfer via the media players and not explorer

Hmm. I should give that a try, but which firmware version do you suggest I go with?

Sorry for this late reply, I've been busy with stuff.

Ahh, okay. I'll give it a try and see what happens. And btw, I think i forgot to mention this but, I can use the K5 as external memory on other computers... just not mine.
