VClix [VP]

[VCVC]

This theme is obviously influenced by the iRiver Clix interface.
all wps code, graphics, buttons and backgrounds were created from scratch.
12 different background versions to choose from.
Needs a custom Rockbox build with the following patches:
-Anti-Aliased Fonts (FS#8961)
-Multifont (FS#4733)
-Custom List for Viewports (FS#8799)

- Update 13.1.08: Converted to Viewports (Thanks to kugel).
- Update 6.7.08: Updated to work with the latest Rockbox changes.
- Update 8.7.08: Updated the Custom List code (for menu positioning), fixed a few glitches and replaced the artist/album/title fonts with anti-aliased fonts.
- Update 6.8.2008: Two versions, one with full anti-aliased fonts and one without for those who are using a build without AA font support or just likes the non AA version more.
Also changed the List Viewport color code to "-" by kugel's suggestion.
- Update 3.9.2008: Replaced the fonts on the non AA version to comply with the recent rockbox fonts cleanup.

* The AA version needs a custom rockbox build that has the Anti-Aliased font patch - like kugel's build.

Sorry, this theme will not look like a clix theme without album art. but your welcome to modify it however you want.

nice, only one problem. It's hard to make your own background because the 'glass' overlay is on the same layer as the actual background. would it be possible to have the 'glass box' separate? but all in all nice theme! keep it up, hope to see more from you in the future!

The glass overlay has three layers: the two contour/reflections and the background that was blured. the only way to create the blured glass effect is to use the blur effect with a selection on the background image itself, its not a seperate layer. keep in mind if you want to use a different background you will have to recreate the control images too...

yes, good piont something I could not do, but still nice theme!

I have one question though on the now playing screen, the top arrow lights up what seems randomly, is there a reason for this or is it truly random?

You can still do it, its just a little work...
The yellow arrow is the disk activity indicator.

I tryed to make my own one, with a different background but I found it to be to hard to re-make all the buttons, but what I did make looked ok, just not finished.


this is what I got, as you can see the arrows are just black, and when they light up, it shows the wood bg around them.

Yea, I don't get the arrows not to be black only either.

I opened the PSD, but there are allready only black arrows :O

What version of photoshop are you using?
im using CS2 and the arrows which has styles on theme display correctly (not black).
try to enable the layer styles if your using photoshop.

I'm using GIMP, and didn't have a problem with PSD so far. But it seems to be a limitation of GIMP.
