Hi!
My Name is larc0s, and I am new to Rockbox. I love Rockbox since I saw it the first time. I also made an own Theme for it ![]() (See "U like me?" in the Theme Forum, hope you like it) I also love it to see my Albumarts, but all my Covers are in .jpg, larger than 130x130 Pixel and named "folder.jpg". I could not find any Programm that convert my Pics from jpeg to bmp, resizes the Pics and renames them, with just a few clicks. So i wrote a c# Prog on my own. It works for me....hope it will work for you too ![]() Try it ![]() Greatings, larc0s Update: I redesigned the GUI al little bit and added a "progresbar" (so it wont hang anymore while converting) Now its even better ![]() Now you can change the Size or keep the original Size ![]() ![]() P.S.: I think you need .net 2.0

Is there a max resolution for Album Art in Rockbox? I took a look at the patch tracker and wiki for it, but never found anything to that effect. I know some of the e200 themes use album art that's larger than 130 pixels per side (e.g. 162 x 162), and -- if there really is no limit -- I'd personally rather keep the resolution the same as the source jpegs. Can you perhaps include an option to customize/maintain resolution in your program, larc0s?

That's great, larc0s -- Thanks for listening! As a further suggestion, it might be nice to have a check box under "Size" that says something like "Keep original size" and maintains the original jpeg's resolution so we don't have to figure it out for each jpeg and enter it manually.

Just an FYI, you need to already have album art in you music folders....Many times they are saved as "Album Art.jpg" or "Cover.jpg" or "Front.jpg" etc. so you need to enter that name style into the _____________.jpg box.... The program will then search the directory where you point it and find all the files that are named "Album Art.jpg" for example and create a corresponding "cover.bmp" file with the sizes you specify.
The program works for me....on Vista Ultimate. |
