I've got a sansa c100 that ive had for about a year now. Throughout this year, Ive gone through at least 5 pairs of earphones. The earphones all seem to just suddenly stop working, i have no idea why. The earphone it self looks fine, but no sound comes out when i plug it in...Most of the earphones are ones that i have been using before with no problems, yet when i use it on the sansa, it always stops working after a while. I'm just wondering if it could be the player itself thats causing this problem, or do I just have really crappy earphones/luck?

How long do you have the headphones before they they stop working? What brand of headphones, too?

I've had it for about a year...
They're the earphones that come with the psp, and ipod ones (I had two pairs, they both broke) |

Did you test the phones on any other player besides the c100, after they crapped out?

Hmm... maybe the best for you would be getting a decent pair of Sennheiser CX300. Not that cheap, but they come with 2 years of warranty.

Yea...the problem is that ive also had the earphones ive been using for about a year, but it only stopped working after i plugged it in the sansa. Im sorta worried that if i buy another pair of earphones, the same thing will happen. Anyone knows WHY this happens?
