Hah. Alright, let's see,
1st:
I got the squares idea from designfabulous and it was posted originally at DAPreview.net.
Can't take credit for someone elses ingeneous idea. That wouldn't be right,
you know.

2nd @lalidooo:
If you have photoshop, I can find somewhere to upload the .psd
I use & send it to you.

Or, you can just open one of my wallpapers in photoshop or psp w/e,
and then open a new layer on top of it, trace over the squares,
delete my wallpaper from under it, and save the transparent squares you drew.

I made some new wallpapers 3 are widescreen for anybody who want use it.

EDIT: made a picture tutorial on how to make the KiDD.VANiTY type wallpaper for the p2 using Microsoft Word (For those of us who do not have photoshop

1: Retrieve the image you want and stretch it to the largest sizetaht it will allow to fit on the page.

2: Take a premade image (made by KiDD.VANNiTY) and lay it over you pre-existing image.

3: Go to the autoshape menu (bottom of screen or on draw tool bar) and select the rounded square, then lay it over the pre-made square and it should line up pretty close with KiDD.VANNiTY's one.

(remember the pixle drag on word is only by 1/4 inch, i set the square 1.5" by 1.5" in the size formatting menu)

4: Next right click the square and click Auto Shape Formatting.
Then go to colors and lines and drag the transparency bar to 50% or your liking.

5: Change the line thickness to 2 1/4 pt and change the color to white.
then copy and paste each square over all the other ones

6: Delete KiDD.VANNiTY's image and you will be left with your new image,

7: To get the image off of word i could not export it as a JPG but i instead a program MWSnap3 (free) and took a picture of if.

8: Then i opened it in Infranview (image editing free software) and resized it to 272 X 480 and saved it to my p2.

And the last one is a picture of my drum set, edited with Infranview and i color changed the buttons by setting the transperacy setting to 50 and then i went to the paint icon and select fill effects>two colors>dark blue and medium blue>added how the color faded>applied

Great Point! So I Decided to step up to the plate. But I decided to take
a stab at Apple in General kinda. I made one for every color P2 (so no one
should complain about me not making them one to match their color) (although the black one seems a bit bigger.....?)

Anyways, i worked i long-ass time on this one, tried about 10 different looks and finally came up with this Iphone like Menu
its all original and took some of the Iphone icons.

It looks pretty simple now, but wait untill its actually on the player with the clock at the base. It could foolanyone into thinking its the unreleased Iphone, Enjoy.

here are some that i have on my p2







this is the skin i made for my crystal case. yeah its off a little bit and i cut the hole kinda bad. the second picture is one that i made buttons for, so that if you go to a different menu, you won't just see blank boxes in the background. they line up pretty well for the most part and since the background dims a bit when you go to a different menu, it doesnt look as bad as it really is. i made it pretty quickly to test it, but now i'm just to lazy to make it perfect

now i'm just trying to find a misa campo picture to put on it. i just can't decide!
