That's really strange. You shouldn't have to go through all that.
The peace symbol above is a jpeg. When your right click, save picture as... it should default to 6668-peace.jpg. Something is screwy in your browser!
BTW, what browser are you using? I've checked this in Firefox and IE both.

i know there jpeg already but i convert them to a better quality anyway so it doesnt matter

bold- sry not quite sure what your talking about

but i got it all working fine for now

Yeah right... You should read about JPEG and what that is, then you'll understand that you cannot get any better quality. It's the same with MP3s. If they were 128 once, the quality doesn't get any better converting them to 320...

Converting a JPEG into another format doesn't enhance the quality of the image as converting a MP3 into Ogg.

Could i get some help in making my own wallpapers? someone in page nine gave link to a black screen with icon spaces and i got it, but i dont know how to make the black transparent, so i can apply it to my desired wallpaper.
