Default Zen Nano Plus quit working-need player with similar features

Sorry, I originally posted this in the wrong place:

I only use it for recording FM broadcasts and then listening to them later, skipping through commercials, if there are any. I can still download a program and play it, but the FM stays on 87.50 only and won't do anything else once on FM unless I take out the battery. I downloaded new firmware which fixed it for one day, then it quit again and nothing I try fixes it now. If anyone knows a solution that, would be great. Otherwise I need to buy a new one, but many seem to either not have FM, or they have it but cannot record off FM and people in stores don't know which do and don't. Some of the online descriptions don't always make it clear either. Furthermore, I bought this HP Street 170 at Fry's, and when it records, apparently if you don't stop the recording at some point, it is voided. With the Zen Nano Plus I could start recording, go to sleep, and it would record 4-5 hours, the battery would go dead, but the recording was still good. Also this new one, the mp-hs-170 would not come on at all the first time I tried to use it, for real(listen to recording I made where I did stop it), and now it refuses to play my recording. I am taking it back, but I need to know what to replace it with. I need something that has 1-2 Gig with FM recording capability that also allows me to either program a recording or turn it on and not have to be there to stop the recording. An additional AM tuner would be great but I understand there is only one out there like that and I guess the one that records FM in stereo is 200 bucks, more than I would spend. Also it is only 512 MB (Radio YourWay LX 128MB) And I hate to spend so much when these things are obviously unreliable. The Zen Nano lasted 1 year and 8 months of recording six times a week and listening every day, which isn't bad, I guess. Apparently the Creative products no longer support FM recording? Thanks very much!
