Hidden files on my sansa c140?

I need some help. I put a bunch of songs on my mp3 player, and it plays fine, but after I installed windows media player on my computer, when I go to edit my music files[from my mp3 player], they don't show up. The information is definitely on my Mp3 player, but my computer doesn't seem to recognize it. All that shows up when I connect are the files that were on my player when it was manufactured. (incidentally, I was never able to see those files until now..)



I don't have infinite room on this thing and I'd kind of like to delete some of the old stuff.. so what should I do?
