Where to buy M6: for Canadians

Does anyone know where you can buy the M6 if you're from Canada? In other words, a retailer who ships to Canada. So far, I have found only ebay to be an option but I don't know if the companies are trustworthy as all are in China. The shipping is around $25 which is acceptable but has anyone bought any of these players on ebay?

I cannot use newegg as they don't ship to Canada. Any ideas or sources?

The players on ebay are decent prices but I got burned once before buying an mp4 player which came from China to a supplier in Canada who then sold them on ebay. The player was supposed to be 4gbs but was cracked to hide the real 2gb. Anyway, I did the fix and used the 2gb player until it eventually died.

But, it seems the M6 gets good reviews here and if it works in Linux (decently) and has good sound, I think it is a good choice. I'm just not sure where to get it. My other choices, currently, are Cowon D2, Samsung players and iRiver Clix.

Needs:
1) Price 2) Sound 3) Linux compatibility 4) Drag and Drop

I think Meizu M6 can offer all this?

Don't know about specific retailers that ship to Canada, and I'm sorry for your bad experience with eBay -- you're not the only one: lots of people complain about "hacked memory" players.

However, I bought both my Meizus (M6 and M3) from an eBay store and couldn't be more happy with the experience. The guy is really reliable, offers insurance and tracking codes for international orders, and their players are brand new genuine Meizus in retail package. My 8 GB M6 was $185 (shipped with insurance). By the way, if customs taxes are a problem in Canada, he will mark the package as "gift" and declare a low value for the item, so you won't pay a lot.

I'm not the only one: three of my co-workers loved my M6 and ordered from him too. No one had issues with the seller or the product.

As for the SD card question, no, Meizu players don't have expansion slots.

Do NOT Buy from www.miniplayer.info. The company has exchanged hands to 3 different people. The customer service is almost completely non existent. The current owner is trying to sell it the company. I bought my first one from them and I couldn't get a single response. The forums are not even maintained anymore as you can tell by the many XXX adds.

If you want to buy from somewhere I suggest on Ebay from the eBay Member: neobya. She deals directly with Meizu, includes many accesories and her communication is the best I have ever had on ebay (which I have been using for 4 years). O and it arrived in 6 days from China to my door in Canada.

I recommend you go over to MeizuMe and take a look at some of the sellers. I personally purchased mine from chinadirect2u who is having a sale going on now. Great communication and great price. You might want to ask them about shipping cost to Canada and how warranty will be handled.

do noT know if this would help you but I saw at Walmart in Montreal, Canada, the meizu 4 gb for $169 more or less.
Do not know if it is the M6 however!
