Hello,
Here's my problem with e200tool: I use it with Linux (If you know how I can make it work with Windows I would be happy because I'm not a Linux fan!). All is right until this sentence: Execution started. I show you what I do: root@ubuntu:/home/ubuntu# sudo /home/ubuntu/Desktop/e200tool recover /home/ubuntu/Desktop/BL_SD_boardSupportSD.rom e200tool v0.2.3-alpha (c) by MrH 2006, 2007 Searching for device 0781:0720 ... 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 not found! Searching for device 0b70:0003 ... found! Initializing USB stub (4780 bytes) ... done! Writing '/home/ubuntu/Desktop/BL_SD_boardSupportSD.rom' to address 0x10600000 Searching for device 6666:e200 ... 9 8 found! Write at 0x10660198 Write done! Running from address 0x10600000 Searching for device 6666:e200 ... found! Execution started! root@ubuntu:/home/ubuntu# I should see the Sandisk logo on my Sansa's screen. But there is nothing. He is black and the srollweel is on yet. Moreover, I should have a 16MB device, but I don't have it. Do you know what I should do to access to the recovery mode? I really don't know what to do! Did I miss something? Thank you!

Yes ok, I've tried... But it's the same.
Even if I hold the rec. button, when I restart, I've nothing on the screen, just the blue scrollweel. I don't know what I can do to access to this recovery mode.

It seems that either there's a problem with e200tool or your Sansa is mostly bricked, as it isn't accepting the bootloader. Also, what kind of Sansa do you have?

I will explain you what I did to be in this situation, you'll may able to say if it's possible to repear it with e200tool: I would put the Multiple Theme Switcher by digerati1338. But I didn't put any other firmware (called F0 for exemple) and when I would start it wasn't possible, I had a black screen with sentences which said the bootloader couldn't find F0.mi4 for example. So, it was my first error. Then, I went to the recovery mode. Yes I was able to go to the recovery mode... and I put the PP5022.mi4 but without the bootloader. (I've forgotten to precise my sansa was completly blocked when it said "reading....." and "writing...." -I don't exactly remember what it said but you must know!-, so I have shuted off my player holding menu button.) Second and fatal error!! ![]() So, now I can't access to the firmware because I don't have the bootloader (it's what I understand!). I have a e260, which original firmware was: 1.02.18F and I changed it to the 1.02.18A because I didn't find the previous one to make themes. So, I don't know if you can help me, but I really really hope! Because I've this problem since tuesday... I would like to repear it quickly!! ![]() Another time, thank you for your help!
