Yeah, but remember Rockbox doesn't support the DRMed files that you download from Rhapsody unless you remove it (NOT EXPLAINING IT HERE)

So do I - I have both the Rhapsody, Rockbox, and e200 firmwares on my Sansa, all at the same time.

*also mutters something about this process is the same thing that was done yesterday*

Also, as a note for other users, the OP also had trouble getting Rockbox on his R, which further states that this is risky, and all directions need to be followed. I have a bash script which can automate parts of the process, but is currently considered "unsupported." I may try to improve the script later, but for now it will work. Let me know if you want the script - I'm going to update it shortly to include better links to fetch the required files.

Wow, that's great news! My Sansa R has been in the discarded players box for months, I'm going to revive it, install Rockbox on it and discard my Rockboxed iPod thing. Oh, the bookmarking bliss!

Just to help save the forums from being flooded (both ABi and Rockbox, as well as IRC) I'm going to say that the recovery procedure is just as hard to do, so until we find a better way, we suggest that you don't try this unless you know how to recover your Sansa.

And to be specific, the recovery method that requires Manufacturing Mode is necessary, not just the method requiring Recovery Mode.
