Lightbulb How I fixed my scroll wheel problems

I have a guide on my site. My wheel would do whatever it wanted and I lost all precision control of it. This is how I fixed it.

I haven't had this issue at all, but it's awesome to have an illustrated guide to cleaning the scroll wheel's inner-workings! Thanks for posting this!

Welcome to ABi >> joustin, nice tutorial!

I moved the thread to the Ultimate SanDisk Sansa e200 FAQ as I’m sure many members will find it handy

One comment on cleaning the wheel: My wheel was failing frequently and I was able to fix the problem 100% by blowing the dust out of the wheel using canned air. The instructions in the above link are good, but you might not need to disassemble the wheel and clean the contacts; just try blowing the dust out first and see if the problem is fixed.
