Itunes (m4p) to mp3 format?

Does anybody have a free converter to convert songs you bought from itunes into the mp3 format? thanks

You must be referring to MediaCoder...please just post the name of the software instead of a link about WMA support, with one post in that thread mentioning MediaCoder. In addition, it looks like MediaCoder doesn't support M4P (since it isn't listed on their site)

Also, for the record:

It is worth noting that the m4a file still has the original purchasers information in the file. Do not pass these files around to your friends. If they end up on the internet you could be prosecuted for piracy.

Itunes has it's own Mp3 converter, just right click on the song you're wanting to convert (in Itunes) and there should be an option that says:
'Convert selection to MP3'

and it'll convert it for you.

That DOESN'T help for protected files, I allreaddy tried that (I "bought" 890 songs from ITunes with CokaCola^^). Just burn them on CD and RIP with WMP
