Was this a statement or a question?

USB hubs generally tend to be unpowered, while Creative players need powered ports. This could be part of the problem.

It's a good possibility. Try connecting it directly to a USB port on your computer.

You've got to give it some time. USB charging is horribly slow; even slower if the computer has not yet "seen" the device. I'd give it about 24 hours before hitting the panic button.

well the thing was it worked when i got it, like i plugged it into a friends computer for 10 minutes and it turned on and i was like oh hey, used the radio and the battery went dead, then i took it home and charged it through my computer hub while i slept

used it for like 4 hours(battery did not seemed to be drained at all from what i noticed.), plugged it into my hub went away for 2 hours would not turn on
