F/A: "My iPod doesn't record! Does it?"

Me: "No. It also doesn't play video, like this. And you can't change the battery, like this. And you can't add memory, like this. And you can't listen to radio, like this. And you paid a whole lot more for it, too."

Other F/A (in sarcastic voice): "Yeah, but the iPod is superior, right?"

Me: "Yeah, that's what Apple says...."

I would save that money to buy a labtop if you don't have one yet. I'm sure colleges will loan you a labtop with the option of buying it later, but it would probably be cheaper buying one off of ebay or somewhere instead of through the campus store.

You're tellin' me. I don't know how I ever worked in my lab without a top! In fact, I'll never go to a lab that doesn't have a top ever again.
That was just the beginning ...

I was trying to reset my Zen by using some pasta, I thought it would work because the pasta looked thin enough, but it broke off when trying to reset it and now it has a bit of pasta stuck in the hole. I am currently trying to get it out, and would appreciate suggestions.

Not a quote, exactly, but still funny just the same.

The ZVM forum has always been a little "out there", with threads like "How does your data port smell", and things like that.

But just today, two threads pop up that were immediate attention grabbers: One was titled "Is my Vision:M shagged", and the other claiming that his player was "knocked up"!

Will we be having little baby ZVMs in our future? You're just going to have to stay tuned to find out!

I should think so. I mean, why else would a thread exist which is titled: "Have you ever washed your dongle?"
