Default Secondary flash player

So I'm in the market for a flash player, that can be secondary to my ZVM. Right now I'm thinking about the MuVo V100 or the Zen Stone. The problem is, I need a player that's cheap and can take a beating.

I'm going on a roller coaster trip this summer, which is pretty much 10 days of non stop parks. I was thinking about it, and using my ZVM in lines probably wouldn't be a good idea, as I don't think it would be a good idea to have an HDD based player in my pocket while on rides.

I know pretty much any flash player will be fine for this - however I want something where the headphone jack, screen (if there is one) etc will survive on coasters, and that means "rough" wooden ones too.

So as I said, I have been looking at the Stone and Muvo, are these good players? I'm fairly open to anything in the price range (which is like $30-$40, and 1gb is what I'd like to have, but I guess 512 would be alright), but prefer if it's Creative (I have had pretty good luck with them). Also, are the MuVo's controls similar to that of the Zen Nomad Xtra?

Thanks...

either would be good for your needs. I just bought a Zen Stone and really love it. It's so small you could even tuck it in you sock or something when you get on rides, it it should be fine in any pocket, on the rides.

Yep. Both are very durable little players. I've had a MuVo N200 for around two years now, and it's taken quite a beating, and still works great!

$70 is wayyyy more than I want to spend. Even $40 is pushing it a bit. I'm leaning towards the MuVo right now as it's only $30 refurbed and has a display. There is also a 1gb Zen V for $40 refurbed, but I don't really need toe color screen as i have the Vision M.

But yeah, I think I'll end up with the MuVo.

Muvo v100 is usb 1.1; very slow transfers.

hmm yeah i think i wouldnt chosen the stone over that... but the stone lacks the clip of the ipod shuffle, which truthfully lowers its usefulness quite a bit
